Coolabunia Sale 18/11/25
Total Yarding: 445hd
A great sale at Coolabunia, with agents yarding a total of 445hd with prices holding firm in all descriptions. Export cattle were available in smaller amounts compared to Murgon, with bullocks selling up to $3.30/kg for $2,100/hd. Light bulls topped $4.24/kg for $1600/hd with heavier bulls topping at $3.96/kg for $2500/hd. Light cows under 400kg made up to $3.56/kg, 400-600kg cows topped at $4.12/kg, and cows over 600kg topped at $4.02/kg for $2,400/hd.
Feeder & weaner cattle prices held strong. Steers under 200kg topped at $5.08/kg for $900/hd. Weaners in the 200-300kg weight range made $5.56/kg for $1,500/hd. In the 300-400kg weight bracket topped at $5.24/kg, and in the 400-500kg+ weight range averaged $5.02/kg for $2,000/hd. Good weaner heifers made $4.68/kg for $1200/hd. Heifers in the 300-400kg weight bracket averaged $4.22/kg for $1,400/hd. Heavier heifers made $4.38/kg for $2,000/hd. The cow and calf unit that was on offer sold for $1000/unit.
The next Coolabunia Sale will be on Tuesday the 2nd of December starting at 12pm after Murgon.
